Introducing

About a year ago, a pleasant contact was established with Jarno and Willeke, owners of Camping Si-Es-An in Balkbrug and NexHus (see photo right). 

Si-Es-An is a natural and green campsite located in the beautiful nature reserve ‘the Reest Valley’. A campsite with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. At the campsite, guests find plenty of peace, space, and nature. The campsite offers spacious camping pitches and special accommodations.

Camping Si-Es-An mainly targets families with young children (up to about 10 years old) and older guests. 

About the collaboration with Si-Es-An

The first collaboration between NexHus and Camping Si-Es-An started with the NexHus STUGA, which are rented out at Camping Si-Es-An under the names 4-person Tiny House ‘the Grutto’ and ‘the Tureluur’.

Camping Si-Es-An has stated that they do not want standard accommodations. Therefore, two NexHus STUGA cabins have now been chosen. Jarno states: “We want something different each time. Something unique but also something that is natural and ‘blends in’ with nature. We fell in love with the design of the cabins. Additionally, the short lines and pleasant communication with NexHus work very well.”

The Tiny Houses are furnished by Instyle Concepts Zwolle. Camping Si-Es-An has previously executed several projects together with them. In this collaboration, a lot of work is taken off their hands, and smart solutions are found for the interior in a compact space.

Around the cabins, Camping Si-Es-An has laid paths with wood chips, and the cabins are equipped with a small terrace. The cabins are situated in the forest edge, giving the impression that they are truly in nature. This also provides peace and privacy.

What is nice to tell is that there are more plans in the pipeline. When the time is right, we will gladly bring you along on that journey.
